3. Brycen Hopkins

Best NFL Role: F tight end

Hopkins can be looked at as a big wide receiver, he is hardly a tight end. While you may not expect much blocking from Hopkins, and his physical ability limits him to split the seams with little to offer after the catch, there is a reason that Hopkins has plenty of NFL buzz.

Hopkins has the size, he has speed, and he can catch the football. Hopkins does a great job using his wide catch radius to make plays down the field and is a threat to create splashes at any time. The combination of him and Trey Burton would not pack much power but would give teams headaches to defend through the air.

The two could also rotate playing time, to keep each other fresh, as both have frames that bring durability questions.

Overall this week will be huge for Hopkins. We want to see how he adjusts to playing in-line and if there is any upside there. Also, can he put on muscle while keeping his same quicks? He has plenty to answer this week.
