Jonah Jackson, Ohio State

Projected Round: 2

Jackson started at Rutgers for two years before being a graduate transfer with the Ohio State Buckeyes. Starting right away for Ohio State, he held down the left guard spot for the Buckeyes on their run to the CFB playoff.

Jackson played exclusively on the left side at Ohio State but played right guard at Rutgers. That position versatility and the ability to switch sides in one year and not lose a step shows an impressive skill that fans should take note of.

Jackson is versatile and experienced and is very balanced and precise as a pass protector. He got plenty of experience blocking for Justin Fields and is much more comfortable moving backward than most linemen are.

He is technical in his hand placement and presents upside as a pass blocker. The question with him will be how much core strength he has. He can get bullied by bigger guards and can get out leveraged at times as well.

Pro Football Focus compared his play to Josh Sitton, which all Bears fans should be familiar with. If that is the type of player they are getting, he should be under watch this week.
