2. Derek Carr

Derek Carr was a second-round pick, but if Chicago Bears want to see a true bust in the top two, they should look to his brother, David. David makes Trubisky look like a hit of a pick. Derek is a more fair comparison, look at their yards per attempt, and adjusted net yards per attempt.

Carr started seven more games, mostly as a rookie, but on a per-game basis threw more passes as well. Carr had more touchdowns and fewer sacks. Again, Trubisky had more rushing yards. Still, overall, they are pretty comparable.

Carr has been with the Raiders for six years. The Raiders have had one winning season. They are undecided as to what they will do with Carr this offseason.

Granted, the Raiders are a bit more fragile of a franchise. Still, Carr has similar numbers. The Raiders are 17-30 after year three with Carr. If the Bears go down a similar path, they need to cut ties earlier than year six. Year four and five should have been red flags that the Raiders were not going in the right direction with Carr, and they should be just as telling with Trubisky.
