2. Charlie Woerner, Georgia, 6’5″, 244 pounds

Charlie Woerner spent four years at Georgia. However, he only caught 35 passes. That would easily explain why he is flying under the radar. However, he comes from a pro-style Georgia offense, and of the tight ends in this class, he has the most experience in-line as a blocker.

Woerner was a wide receiver in high school, so if he can show that his refined blocking matches an athletic profile, he could have an untapped upside in the NFL.

He performed well at the Shrine Bowl and a good combine could get him into early day 3 consideration. We will want to see if Woerner has the athleticism needed and if his hands are capable of making the transition to the NFL.

Still, the refined blocking gives a nice base to add onto. We will see if he can show he is more than just an in-line blocker.
