Robert Hunt, Louisiana, 6’5″, 323 pounds

If the Bears are going to draft a right guard with their second-round pick, the bet would be that Hunt is the player. Hunt player right tackle, but all indications are that while he dominated on the outside against competition at Louisiana, a slide into right guard should be seamless in the NFL.

NFL.com compared him to Cody Ford, who slid between right tackle and right guard as a rookie for the Bills. PFF compared him to Brandon Scherff, a college tackle who slid into guard seamlessly. Scherff is a fascinating comparison as some fans will clamor to sign him this offseason.

Nonetheless, he is highly regarded in his ability to translate to the NFL with a combination of movement skills and power. He is currently nursing a groin injury, which ended his year early. However, this may suppress his stock just enough to be a steal in the second round.
