4. Cole Kmet, TE, Notre Dame, 6’6″, 262 lbs

Dalton Keene became the sleeper to watch. Cole Kmet may have solidified himself as the top tight end in the draft. To start. how about that size? Ideal, if not on the big side. Cole Kmet standing over 260 pounds on top of his height shows he has everything you need from an in-line tight end.

Beyond that, you can see from his testing that he is going to be a strong athlete in the NFL. Kmet produced an excellent 40 time for his size.

You can see that his change of direction is a bit slow, as he is more of a seam splitter who can work with the ball in his hands. He is the perfect “Y” tight end in the NFL to compliment a “U” in Trey Burton.

Kmet is also 20 years old. When you combine his experience, age, blocking, and athleticism, it will be surprising if a tight end beside him is the first one taken.

All of a sudden the Chicago Bears second-round pick could be the floor for Cole Kmet.
