7. Sean Davis, S

Speaking of Greg VanRoten being a diamond in the rough, Sean Davis could be that as well. Davis never quite caught on with the Steelers. Some of it had to do with his position versatility. When the Steelers drafted him, they said they saw him as a great box safety.

However, early into his rookie year, the Steelers had to move him to the slot. He moved to strong safety in his second year and had a solid season. However, the Steelers moved him to his third position in three years as he played free safety and struggled in the transition. In year four, he entered at free safety again. However, a week two injury led to the Minkah Fitzpatrick trade, and Davis is now ready to find work elsewhere.

Davis is 27 years old and is better in the box. He has no hype as he has not played since September, but he also was a player the Steelers considered bringing back from IR for a playoff run as well. He is healthy.

The Bears gave HaHa Clinton-Dix a cheap one-year deal where he had a chance to showcase himself for a bigger deal. If they gave Sean Davis the same deal to play more in the box, could he see an opportunity to prove himself as well?
