6. Tyler Eifert, TE

Fans want to go out and spend big on Eric Ebron, but health is a big concern for him. When thinking of Tyler Eifert, health is the first question that comes to any fan’s mind. However, in 2019 Eifert played 491 snaps while Ebron played just 325.

Ebron has been overall healthier, but in the past three seasons, they both have played just one full season. The fact of the matter is that Ebron vs. Eifert is not really the debate either.

Ebron is going to get a serious contract as a hot commodity. It is going to take days, if not weeks, for Eifert to see what his market is. His health is a bit more questionable. Ebron is going to make twice, if not three times, as much as Eifert. That is where Eifert becomes more attractive.

Still, he is a perfect “Y” tight end to match Trey Burton. Perhaps if the Bears split snaps between the two, they can get a healthy season from both? If Andy Dalton gets traded, does he reunite with Eifert? This could be a name to keep an eye on.
