2. Phil Dorsett, WR

Dorsett is another player we touched on this offseason as a hidden gem. The Chicago Bears let go of Taylor Gabriel this offseason to save some cash. Dorsett is essentially a cheap version of Gabriel. Why not add a more affordable, younger version of a player that you once had?

Dorsett was a former first-round pick and was a bust in the first two years. The Colts traded him for Jacoby Brissett. Dorsett spent three years with the Patriots. He struggled in his first year but had a career year in 2018. He was fine in 2019, catching 30 passes for 403 yards and five touchdowns, although he did not set the world on fire.

Still, Gabriel had 29 receptions for 353 yards and four touchdowns this past season. Mitch Trubisky to Tom Brady is a difference, but Dorsett was just a rotational player last year. He could be an upgrade from Gabriel, but will undoubtedly go under the radar after taking a step back from 2018.

Dorsett has the same profile as Gabriel as a speed threat. Is this the perfect replacement?
