Some of the leaked players that could be available during round 2.

Two of the edge defenders would have to be traded up to obtain. Two edge defenders could be had later. Most of the safties fall in the sweet spot for the Bears while the corners might have to involve a trade-up to obtain. Other leaked news has told us that the Chicago Bears covet explosive playmakers and big-bodied receivers like KJ HamlerJalen Reagor, Denzel Mims, Tee Higgins, and Chase Claypool.

Using draftscout.com and the complete list I have of the Chicago Bears interest. The second-round options could be Adam Trautman, Gabriel Davis, Lynn Bowden Jr. Matt Hennessy, Curtis Weaver, Jonathan Greenard, Bradlee Anae, Logan Wilson, Julian Okwara, Kyle Dugger, and Jeremy Chinn.  This currently leaves these 11 players who could be drafted in the second round by the Chicago Bears.

However, just because the Bears have been rumored to have talked to these players does not guarantee that they are interested. Some could be smoke screens, and others could only be gathering intel on other players. Make no mistake, this is a hefty amount of players for the Bears early Day 2 picks.  They have to put in some research on the late Day 3 guys a bit more when comparing my list to draftscout.com

Could we see a substantial amount of defensive additions added to the Chicago Bears? Another edge defender to rotate in with Khalil Mack and Robert Quinn? How about a defensive back pairing with Kyle Fuller or Eddie Jackson? What about another offensive weapon for Matt Nagy or some offensive line help? If only the Bears had two more second-round draft picks this year, they could fill all the voids.
