Jaylon Johnson, and  A.J. Terrell

It is no surprise that cornerback is mocked to the Chicago Bears often. After letting go of Prince Amukamara, they added Artie Burns at the minimum salary. That saved them a lot of money, but it is a massive drop in talent.

In fact, Burns could very well be behind Kevin Toliver on the depth chart as the Chicago Bears head into the NFL draft. Nonetheless, it is clear that if they value a cornerback. They may have to pull the trigger early.

Jaylon Johnson from Utah and A.J. Terrell from Clemson are the two names who see their names attached to Chicago most often.

Terrell is starting to rise in mock drafts, and there is a real question if he will be there for the Chicago Bears. Before his name got hot, it may have been true that he is the best player available, and if he falls, that would still be the case.

Johnson falls to right around pick 43, and he is an excellent fit across from Kyle Fuller. We wrote about Johnson and his ability to press and play athletic. This is a great fit, and according to most, the value matches where the Bears pick. Keep your eyes on Jaylon Johnson.
