3. Pick 72: Josh Jones, T, Houston

This one is interesting. Some mock drafts had him as a first-round lock, others saw him closer to this range. Still, even the lowest rankings saw Jones and his upside as worth of a shot at pick 72.

The question with Jones is whether the slide was warranted or not. Questions will likely come from being a senior from a small school and not breaking out until his last year at Houston. His senior tape is first-round caliber, but that is about the only great season he had.

He also did not face the toughest competition and played for a spread offense at Houston. However, Kliff Kingsbury and Dana Holgerson came up the coaching tree together, and run a similar offense.

Maybe Jones is the perfect fit for Arizona and not quite a great fit for the Bears. Perhaps Jones fall is warranted, and a team like Arizona took him because they were desperate for offensive line help.

Nonetheless, he could be the Cardinals starting right tackle in 2020. If Bobby Massie gets hurt, and Josh Jones is starting at right tackle as a rookie, Bears fans are going to be fuming.
