Jacksonville Jaguars

Taking on the Jaguars should be an easy feat for this Bears team too. The biggest moves the team made in free agency this offseason was the addition of Tyler Eifert at tight end and Joe Schobert at linebacker. Neither of these moves screams big change.

The team’s best player, Yannick Ngakoue wants to be traded rather than play on the franchise tag. A trade did not happen and time will tell if he plays or performs at the same level while on the tag. The team also lost Calias Campbell this offseason. In an attempt to replace him, the Jaguars drafted K’lavon Chaisson out of LSU in the first round. I like Chaisson and find the move to be a good one, but will it be enough to help this team?  I am not so sure.

On offense, the big move was bringing in rookie wide receiver Laviska Shenault, Jr. Shenault is coming off an injury but was a target I was interested in for the Chicago Bears in this 2020 NFL Draft. I like this addition too, but honestly do not trust that Gardner Minshew is the answer at quarterback the Jaguars need long-term. Is Jake Luton the answer instead? Probably not.

No matter if the team has Mitchell Trubisky or Nick Foles under center, I think this game will be a victory either way. The better narrative though is a Foles revenge game.
