Kindle Vildor
The Bears selected another cornerback in this years draft, bringing in Kindle Vildor. He is another raw prospect with loads of potential. At Georgia Southern, he showed the ability to be reliable in coverage as well as a good tackler. He is a versatile corner who can play press and in the slot very well.
He does lack in size, but what he lacks in size he makes up with his length and his ability to play bigger than his size. He played really well in his junior year, and although he did not do as well as a senior, he still exhibited his versatility and his coverage abilities.
His role will be primarily on special teams to start things off, but if he gets some playing time, he can make an impact right away. The Bears have a deep cornerback group right now, so he will need to impress with the little playing time he might get. Vildor can be a solid depth piece for this group and could come in ready to play if injuries happen. He has a lot to prove and will be looking to make an impact he can each time he sees the field.
