The Chicago Bears had a lot of players peak recently to the media

The Chicago Bears aren’t shy when it comes to having their players share their thoughts during press conferences.  A lot of the questions have been around the topics of what is happening around the country. I have my own opinions on the subject as well as many players in the league have their own. However, we are here to talk football, so here are some of the takeaways from the player’s press conferences that have happened over the week.

Robert Quinn

What made Robert Quinn join the Chicago Bears was that he wanted to be apart of an organization that is known for its defense. Being able to play across from Khalil Mack was a big draw for Quinn. Quinn also expressed how a lot of younger players intrigued him. Quinn wants to be part of this potential historic defense. With building blocks like Roquan Smith in the making, Quinn and Mack could become a strong force at linebackers on the edge.

Germain Ifedi

The first question Germain Ifedi was asked about was what does he know about the type of offense that is being run by coach Matt Nagy. Ifedi stated how a few Super Bowl teams the past few years have run this type of offense. The NFL is a copycat league, so it is no surprise that Matt Nagy is trying to run something that has been proven. The most significant difference is, usually Super Bowl teams have something that sets them apart from the league.
