Most likely, picks will have to be included in order to get Adams. The Bears have not had a first-round selection in the last two drafts, and sending this package to New York would mean another two years in a row. This could potentially put the future in jeopardy, but the Bears are in win-now mode with their defense in their prime.

The Bears would be parting ways with two early picks in the next two drafts, along with the fifth-year options those players come with. The next draft class is loaded with talent, especially at receiver which the Jets desperately need. If the Jets are still looking to rebuild, two extra first-round picks would be very enticing. They could find some very good young talent with team control in exchange for their superstar safety.

Giving up more future assets would be a tough pill to swallow for many Bears fans and personnel, as it puts them in a tight window for contention. Yet, bringing in a game-changer like Adams might be worth it to finish polishing off that defense.

This seems like a trade the Bears could make, as they have been willing to give up picks in the past for elite talent. They would be getting Adams in his prime, while not parting with any of their core players on offense or defense.
