Trubisky is finding an edge

All of this offseason hype around Mitchell Trubisky is nice and all, but what does it mean come regular season? Is he going to start, or will Nick Foles be the guy? We all know that there will be a competition between Trubisky and Foles come training camp. Does the work that Mitch has put in with his teammates give him an edge in that battle?

Although Foles is a welcomed addition to the team, most of the receivers and backs on this team are familiar with Mitch, so they are probably more comfortable playing with him right now rather than Foles. In training camp, this might mean that they play better with Trubisky, as they know each other’s tendencies better.

The more Trubisky works with his teammates and really gets to know how to play with them, the better it will be for him in the competition. He will be throwing to guys knowing the smallest details of how they play, giving him maybe a little advantage over Foles.

Nothing is certain for the competition that is going to happen, but all we know is that Mitchell Trubisky has been working hard this offseason and that his hard work could mean good things for the Bears this season.

Mitchell Trubisky has a lot to improve on from last season and is on his last leg of his time here with the Bears unless he can be better. From his approach to this offseason and his willingness to put in the work, all signs point to a better and more focused Mitch come the regular season.
