Chicago Bears: Cole Kmet will be a fantasy steal in 2020
Why he’s a good fit for fantasy football in 2020
This past season, I had to learn the hard way how vital a tight end is to a fantasy football team. I had every position locked down, but averaged about 3 points per game from the TE position, putting me at an instant disadvantage in any matchup. The tight end position is extremely important, and there are only a couple of guys who can guarantee you a strong season.
That’s why it’s so important that you find the next guy at this position. Tight end is a must-get in terms of free agency pickups, and Cole Kmet will be a guy that nobody has their eyes on. You may not even need to pick him up straight out of the gate, as I doubt anybody will be watching a 2nd round pick on a team that struggles at his position. If you have him though, whether he plays on your fantasy team or not, he’ll provide you huge value if he has a breakout season.
This is a move that will pay off come week six or seven. Don’t be the guy who picks Rob Gronkowski in the first round, be the guy who makes a smart move early that pays off for him in the long run. I’m not telling anybody to pick up Cole Kmet right away, I’m telling them to keep their eye on him. Once he starts getting consistent snaps, it’s only a matter of time for the young gun.
