The Chicago Bears Head coach needs a plan.

The Chicago Bears enter this season with a conundrum at hand. Before we talk about that, let’s talk about the hate speech of not having a season. Bears fans, do you not want an NFL season? I have read a lot about how many fans think the NFL season should fold and move on.

Maybe those who have said that arent die-hard football fans, but I tell you what. Having professional football is what makes winters in Wisconsin and Illinois bearable. We should all pray and hope there is an NFL season, while also wishing for the best from a health and safety standpoint. I think it is okay to wish for both of these things. Now, let us discuss the quarterbacks for a minute.

This quarterback competition couldn’t have fared worse for the Chicago Bears. Well, not unless Nick Foles changes his mind and opted out of the 2020 NFL season. That would be awful. To me, I have loved it. Well, I am not loving the fact that people are going thru the pain that COVID-19 has caused, but on the bright side, it has brought us a preseason-less football season. The quarterback competition is going to be a college styled show me what you have offseason.

Matt Nagy talked about how he will shame the quarterback who is playing like crap in training camp. I think that is a direct quote to Mitch Trubisky. We all know what kind of quarterback Nick Foles can be. This entire Chicago Bears coaching staff knows who Nick Foles is. Foles impressed me back in 2013 when I thought Chip Kelly was a bust of a coaching hire. Who throws 27 touchdowns to only two interceptions. Who tosses seven touchdowns in a single game?
