Which tight end group is the best in the NFC North?

The Chicago Bears invested a lot of resources in the tight end room. Now, it is time to see how they stack up against their rivals in the NFC North we have been going position by position through the NFC North to see where the stack up. After falling to the bottom at quarterback and running back, Allen Robinson carried them higher at receiver. How do the Bears fare at tight end?

4. Green Bay Packers

Jace Sternberger, Mercedes Lewis, Robert Tonyan

The Green Bay Packers are relying heavily on a year two breakout from Jace Sternberger. Sternberger was the Packers’ third-round pick in 2019. However, he spent his rookie season on IR. Packers fans are going to demand to be higher based on his upside. It is fair to note that he was a good receiver in college.

However, until he proves something on the NFL field he is still looked at as a third-round question mark. Lewis has extended his career as a strong blocker, but that is all he brings, and Tonyan is a solid special team, and depth tight end.

Still, without a big name starter, and just adequate depth, the Packers are the biggest question in the division.
