Where do the Chicago Bears linebackers rank in the NFC North?

We have been ranking the NFC North position by position to see where the Chicago Bears stand up against their rivals. They did not fare well on offense, but the defense has an argument to be the top in the division.

After dominating the defensive line, we are onto the linebackers. Where do the Chicago Bears linebacker group rank in the division? Remember, we are talking about the entire room, and more than just the starters.

4. Green Bay Packers

Oren Burks, Christian Kirksey, Ty Summers, Kamal Martin

This really does not need much explanation does it. Check the names. Oren Burks has theoretical upside. On paper, Oren Burks is a lot better than he has in stadiums. He is athletic, he has range in coverage and can move. He also does not seem to have enough armor on his body and has been banged up while failing to take on a full-time role. Burks is only entering year three, but his physicality in the box was his big question coming out.

The Packers also paid Christian Kirksey, who has talent on paper but has played in nine games over two years due to injuries. Kirksey is still 28, but in 2019 you started to see him slow down before going down to injury again. This is a shot in the dark.

The depth is just as weak as the starters. These are the types of issues that make you question what Green Bay was doing when they traded up for Jordan Love. They had other needs.
