1 Minnesota Vikings
Anthony Barr, Eric Kendricks, Eric Wilson, Ben Gedeon
It would still take an extremely talented duo to knock off Roquan Smith and Danny Trevathan and the Minnesota Vikings have just that. The duo of Kendricks and Barr has been going strong since before Roquan Smith was even drafted.
The Vikings thought they lost Barr in free agency, but were able to bring him back last year. Barr his limitations in coverage, but is one of the best downhill and pass-rushing linebackers in the NFL. His physicality and athleticism are up there.
However, what puts this group together is Kendricks. Trevathan and Smith are great, but as of this moment, he is the top linebacker in the division. He is a leader, play-caller, stud in coverage, and physical tackler.
Lastly, the Vikings have much better depth than the Chicago Bears. Gedeon is a solid contributor and could start somewhere in a few years in the way of Nick Kwiatkoski. Wilson has contributed to the defense for three years as well, and could very well see a market in free agency this offseason.
One through four, this group is one of the best in the entire NFL and does beat out a great Bears duo.
