Believe it or not, Buster Skrine‘s long NFL career was built on more than just a cool haircut and great name. With two years left on his contract, the 31-year old will be finishing his stint with the Chicago Bears after the 2021-22 season as a 10-year vet in the league. Through 2018, he posted 9 interceptions and 77 pass deflections as a Cleveland Brown and New York Jet.

He came to Chicago as a replacement for Bryce Callahan. And while Callahan finished his career on an extremely high note, the Bears were left with no option but to let him go. Yes, Callahan was more productive than Skrine. He was probably a better player than Skrine.
