The Chicago Bears have been without their top starters in training camp, which has led to Roy Robertson-Harris to make the most of it.
The Chicago Bears are not going to get back Eddie Goldman, who decided to opt-out of the 2020 NFL season. They are expecting to get Akiem Hicks back, who has missed the last week of training camp with a quad injury. However, without the two, the Bears have had to go on with the depth getting all of the starter snaps for the past week.
Still, any Chicago Bears fan knows that if there is a position in which the twos can run with the ones, it the defensive line. So, it is no surprise that earlier in the week it was Bilal Nichols who was flashing, and yesterday, we got reports of Roy Robertson-Harris having the best session of training camp.

"Every year, the goal is to make a big leap. Right now it's just trying to do everything I can to help the team win. All the stats and all that stuff will come."
The Bears are going to get Hicks back, but he is now 30 years old, and the list of injuries are starting to sequence together. They need to manage his snap counts along with their expectations of what they could get from him.
That, along with the loss of Goldman means plenty of time for both Nichols and Robertson-Harris. RRH is playing for a contract this year, and with an increase in playing time, there is life-changing money on the line this season.
It is good to know that the Bears can trust on the depth at the interior of their line, and even despite losing Goldman, the group is one of the strengths of the team. Keep an eye on the progress of RRH and Nichols over the coming days.
