Stephen Gostkowski, Kicker

Now, this isn’t the prettiest signing in the world, but this could help the Bears woes greatly. The Bears already added Cairo Santos to be on the roster alongside Eddy Pineiro, but both of these players struggle with injuries. Santos never stays healthy and Pineiro is already banged up and got banged up last season too.

The fact that Stephen Gostkowski is available still is criminal. After spending years in New England and constantly being consistent, he had one bad season in which he was playing with a bad hip that landed him on the injured reserve and led to his release.

The age is a concern, but many kickers play into their later years. The Bears let go of Robbie Gould because they thought he was declining and he was getting old, but they were proven wrong. The Bears could make up for that mistake by picking up one of the most consistent kickers in football for years. If anything, give him a tryout.
