What is in store for the Chicago Bears future?

So after reading all of this, one might say, why have such little faith? I believe the Bears can be competitive for the near future. They have great talent locked up already and up and coming players ready to set fire to the league. Yet, sometimes you have to be realistic.

This season is not necessarily boom or bust for the Bears, but there is a lot of pressure on this team. You can just feel it because of what is coming. Less cap space next year plus some key players getting older, along with a shaky quarterback situation might be a perfect storm to halt the progression of this team.

There is so much to be positive about, and I expect the Bears to contend for a Super Bowl this year. They are arguably better than they were in 2018 on paper, so what says they can’t go far in the playoffs. Hopefully, they can keep the team together for the next few seasons, but with all the question marks surrounding this year, who knows what could happen.

Most likely we will see a somewhat big trade or cut, but other than that I would like to think there won’t be too much turnover. The team has a clever front office, and I believe they can figure out a way to save money and bring in some young talent through the draft.

Bears fans, bear with this team, pun intended. It might not always be pretty, but this is the best team we have had in a while, so we should be all in. Sure, the future might be a bit bleaker now thanks to coronavirus, but first, we get to cheer them on this season, a season in which I see big things and success for this team.
