Another option for the Chicago Bears at inside linebacker is Todd Davis
Todd Davis, ILB
If the Chicago Bears are not interested in James Burgess, another option could be Todd Davis. Davis is relatively young still at only 28 years old, but he brings a great deal of experience. He even has experience as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 defense, which could be an added bonus to a team that could use more experience to their depth.
Davis has started for the Broncos over the last four years. Three of those years he played inside and recorded 82, 114 and 134 tackles. Last season might have been his best statistically. He finished with 78 solo tackles and 56 assists over 14 games. He also recorded six tackles for loss and his missed tackle rate was only 4.3 percent.
While writing this, Davis might be the guy I am most excited about on this list and he also played with Danny Trevathan while in Denver in 2014 and 2015. When it comes to claims, Davis would be on my top priority list if I am Chuck Pagano, Matt Nagy and Ryan Pace.
