How did the Chicago Bears running backs do?
When given the opportunity, Chicago’s running game was able to move the ball on the ground. The Bears’ backfield did most of their damage in the first half. Despite coming into the game listed as questionable with a groin injury, David Montgomery led the charge with 64 yards on 13 carries.
Tarik Cohen added 41 yards with his seven carries on the afternoon and Cordarrelle Patterson even got in the mix, carrying the ball four times for 19 yards. The trio combined for 124 rushing yards, with an average of 5.2 yards per carry.
