Matt Nagy led off with the press conference.

The Chicago Bears press conference this week started on a negative note with losing practice squad players Rashaad Smith (who I had high hopes of) and Jamon Brown. Matt Nagy will have to work his head coaching magic because concern with Allen Robinson is at an all-time high. Allen Robinson and the coach sat down and talked it out, and Matt Nagy feels no issues going forward with Allen Robinson. So, enough of that drama for now as we will get into more on him later.

The world seems to have been watching Danny Trevathan because that was one of the questions asked to Nagy right away. Trevathan and Nagy both know that this was not a good game for Trevathan, but accepting that moving forward to this week’s game is on the horizon.  Matt Nagy brought up how lining up Mitch Trubisky from under center (I love it) is ideal for the team and keeps teams balanced.

As many of you know, Mitch Trubisky was under center from middle school on and did not know what a hard count is. Who would have known that this kid would be taking snaps under center trying to draw defensive linemen offsides? Khalil Mack was asked about lack of production, but Nagy firmly believes that Mack is the best edge rusher in the league. Nagy also expressed how his team needs to create more pressure to help out the defensive backs. More to come on Allen Robinson.
