Chicago Bears CBS ranking – 20th

Right off the bat, I still find the Bears too low. It is not fair for me to think the Bears are in the right spot at 20 on the CBS list, but too low at 20 on the ESPN list. The thing is, I do like some of the other rankings on this list though. For example, the Bears are higher than the Texans and the Vikings. The Vikings were being decimated by the Green Bay Packers until very late when the Vikings put up 24 points in the fourth quarter.

I know what you are thinking, but the Chicago Bears did essentially the same thing, right? The difference here is that the Packers were winning be a much wider margin throughout the majority of the game. Many of the Vikings points came in garbage time. I honestly think the Bears and Vikings should be about equal. I’d even be okay with the Vikings being a spot above the Bears. However, the other two rankings have them way too high.

Teams that I found still too high though were once again the Eagles and Colts. The Bucs are still getting the Tom Brady treatment at number 10 too. I was shocked to see CBS put the Cardinals at number eight, but I honestly do not hate it. They beat a strong 49ers defense.

That said, the Packers at number two? Nah. Chicago Bears bias aside, I cannot put them above the likes of the Ravens or Saints. Heck, I still think I like the Seahawks more than Green Bay too, but that’s probably my bias showing.
