Jimmy Graham showed how he can help this Chicago Bears offense

Early on, Jimmy Graham seemed to have a communication issue with Trubisky. He mistimed his jumps twice on two passes that would have been easy first downs or just catches. After that though, they had a great rapport.

Graham finished with three receptions for 25 yards and a touchdown against the Lions on Sunday. Graham was utilized exactly what he was brought in for — red zone. He got into a one-on-one on the outside with a cornerback for an easy alley-oop from Trubisky (get it, because he played basketball?)

Graham was targeted seven times that game but just couldn’t click with Trubisky early. Now that they brushed off the rust, their connection should be more evident in this next game. Expect Trubisky to target him often this game again and Graham to have better results.
