The Chicago Bears wide receivers and tight ends were mostly invisible

All of the talk leading up to this Week 2 matchup was surrounding Allen Robinson II. There were rumors of the Bears receiver wanting a trade in the midst of not getting a much-needed contract extension. Well, Robinson probably didn’t help his argument (at least in this particular game) with his play on the field.

The seven-year veteran was targeted nine times on the afternoon, only to haul in three balls for 33 yards. Robinson also lets a Giants defender take the ball right from his arms for an interception.

After a big game in Week 1, Anthony Miller finished with a goose egg on the stat sheet. Miller also dropped a touchdown pass in the end zone in the first quarter. Rookie Darnell Mooney caught three passes for 36 yards and scored his first career touchdown. Tight ends Jimmy Graham and rookie Cole Kmet each had one catch and combined for 30 yards receiving. Graham did surrender one of the four sacks by Chicago’s offense.
