Chicago Bears vs. Atlanta Falcons: 3 must-watch players
By Joseph Herff
These are three Chicago Bears players we will be watching closely in Week 3.
Once again, the Chicago Bears chose to play with our feelings again after the close week two matchup against the New York Giants. Early on, Mitchell Trubisky and the Chicago Bears’ offense seemed nearly unstoppable. The Bears showed again the classic “tale of two halves.”
Although it was frustrating, the Bears are still 2-0, somehow. They may have not been the prettiest wins, but a win is a win. On the flip side, the Falcons are almost polar opposites of the Bears. They got handed their week one loss to a tough Seattle Seahawks team and blew a 20 point lead to the Dallas Cowboys losing 40-39.
Atlanta’s offense is as high-powered as ever with their endless amount of weapons. It will be one of the toughest challenges for the Bears. The likes of Matt Ryan, Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, and Todd Gurley prove to be one of the best offensive groups in football.
The Falcons maybe 0-2, but they aren’t a normal 0-2 team and shouldn’t be treated like that. Actually, they are the favorites for this game as they are three-point favorites according to Fanduel Sportsbook.
This is a tough matchup for this Chicago as the Falcons have a tough team, but the Falcons have a long injury report as of now including some big-name players like Julio Jones.
Disclaimer: This week I am not including Mitchell Trubisky as he is an obvious player to watch.
