Jaylon Johnson, Cornerback

Jaylon Johnson has been spectacular thus far this season. So far in these two games, Johnson has only allowed a 46.2% completion against some tough matchups. He has not allowed a touchdown yet either and he also broke up the last pass to Marvin Jones to seal the game against the Detroit Lions. He additionally has only allowed a 70.7 passer rating when targeted.

Essentially, Johnson has been the guy the Bears wanted him to be when they drafted him. This week, Johnson will have his hands full. He either covers Julio Jones or Calvin Ridley. Jones is arguably a top-three wide receiver in the NFL and Ridley has been near impossible to stop this season. In two games, he has 16 catches for 239 yards and four touchdowns.

This will be Johnson’s first real test in the NFL. Him and Fuller both should have their hands full with one of the best duos in the NFL. If he locks down or even just limits one of these two players, the Bears will have a much easier road ahead on Sunday.
