Week 3: Chicago Bears @ Falcons

Looking at their Week 3 matchup, the Chicago Bears will be focused on a Falcons defensive line that has looked strong through two weeks. Matt Nagy’s offense has placed a lot of value on the run, an area that he has ditched in the past and paid for dearly.

The reason that I’m bringing this up is that one of the bright spots on this Atlanta team is their interior defensive lineman Grady Jarrett. If you want to really get into this, check out Parker Hurley’s piece on the matchup between Chicago’s offensive line and Atlanta’s defensive line.

Basically, if David Montgomery can’t get going in the run game, we may have a problem on our hands. There are also concerns in regards to the Falcons high-powered offense that will pose a challenge to the Chicago Bears for the first time all season. That being said, Atlanta and Chicago have similar talent on their squad, but the Bears have found a way to win through two weeks and the Falcons have found a way to lose. I think Chicago will sneak by with another close win.
