Week 4: Chicago Bears vs. Colts

This is where things will really start to get tricky for Chicago. The MVP-caliber performances we’ve seen from Mitchell Trubisky may be challenged by a Colts defense that has been surprisingly stingy. We’ve seen Money Mitch struggle in the past against teams that create turnovers, so this will be something to keep an eye on in the Week 4 matchup.

That being said, the Colts have not looked good as a unit for two weeks. Like Chicago, they have played two opponents who have not looked good at the start of the season. In a Week 1 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis let their fans down with a heartbreaking loss to begin the season. They immediately bounced back though, defeating a Minnesota team that went from playoff hopeful to hoping they can win a single game this season.

Without getting into the Xs and Os, this actually looks like a better matchup for Chicago than most people might expect. While the Colts defense has looked strong, I can’t see a world where they put up too many points on Chicago’s stout defense in the Windy City. I’m usually a pretty extreme pessimist, but I put the Bears at 4-0 after this game.
