Week 5: Chicago Bears vs. Tampa Bay

Spoiler Alert; this is where I think Chicago will snag their first loss. Tampa Bay has not looked extremely sharp all season, but the potential is all there. With a team that seemingly came together on short notice, Bruce Arians’ squad hasn’t even come close to its ceiling.

The main knock on this squad is that the offense hasn’t been the explosive powerhouse unit that most people expected it to be. Tom Brady has looked average and the team has been making stupid mistakes all over the field. But if I were to chalk this off as another win, I’d become another name on an extremely long list to count out Tom Brady’s team after a couple of weeks.

You won’t find a much stronger coach-quarterback duo than Arians and Brady, and I think these guys will get it together by this point and the season. After their skip through the meadow, this game will be the start of a grueling 5-game stretch that includes the Buccaneers, the Panthers, the Rams, the Saints, and the Titans.

Next. Why Chicago's close wins are actually a good thing. dark

Maybe they’re caught looking too far ahead on the schedule or maybe the stars are starting to align in Tampa Bay. Either way, I think this team takes home its first loss of the year against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
