Let’s take a look at a recent 2021 two-round mock draft for the Chicago Bears.

After a 3-0 start to the season, the Chicago Bears are rolling, barely. They’ve snuck away in all three of their games making two miraculous comebacks against the Detroit Lions and the Atlanta Falcons. They almost blew their lead against the New York Giants as well.

Jordan Reid of the Draft Network created his latest 2021 Mock Draft. This is now his second installment. He created his draft order by using BetOnline’s Super Bowl odds prior to the Week 3 games being played. Here are some major picks before the Bears pick at 17.

To start out the draft, the New York Jets reset at quarterback taking Trevor Lawerence. This likely creates a Josh Rosen scenario for Sam Darnold that he could get traded for some sort of compensation. The Cincinnati Bengals add some much needed offensive line help selecting offensive tackle Penei Sewell out of Georgia. The Carolina Panthers, like the Jets, create a new face of their franchise by drafting quarterback Justin Fields out of Ohio State.

To round out the top five, the Miami Dolphins select wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase from LSU and the New York Giants draft linebacker Micah Parsons from Penn State. The third quarterback came off the board at eighth overall to the Detroit Lions as they select Trey Lance from the FCS powerhouse North Dakota State.

Right before the Bears pick, the Minnesota Vikings take an interior offensive lineman, the Las Vegas Raiders take an interior defensive lineman, and the Cleveland Browns select a linebacker.
