Chicago Bears ESPN ranking – 14

ESPN has the Bears ranked 14th heading into Week 4 versus the Colts. This is once again up three spots from where ESPN had the Bears ranked heading into Week 3. The Chicago Bears are still the lowest undefeated team in the rankings, but this time I feel like 14th feels justified. The team has plenty of question marks for an undefeated team, but they should definitely be in the top 15.

Interestingly, the Chicago Bears are two spots above the Indianapolis Colts as the two teams head into a Week 4 matchup. ESPN wrote about how they thought the Bears would have been more patient with making the switch from Trubisky to Foles (so did I), but nevertheless, this is now Foles’ team going forward unless an injury occurs.

Rivers has not been great for the Colts and the Bears defense has been looking better every week. The team should honestly have no problem coming out of Week 4 still undefeated. This will once again be another close week though. As we look at the following week versus a Tom Brady led Bucs team, the 2-1 Bucs are only two spots ahead of Chicago going into Week 4. It will be interesting to see how these three teams shake out after Week 4.
