What Madden 21 predicts for the Chicago Bears Week 4 matchup vs Colts

Wow is all I can say after watching the Chicago Bears through the first three weeks of the NFL season. Through everything we have seen, the Bears are 3-0 going into their Week 4 matchup against the 2-1 Indianapolis Colts. We simulated the Bears vs Colts game on Madden 21 to see a possible outcome.

The Bears came out on top in this game, with a final score of 31 to 24, putting the Bears at 4-0 to start the season. It seems Madden 21 is quite fond of the Bears this year.  It was a great game for the Bears, who started Nick Foles for the first time this season. Here are some of the stats for both teams.

Chicago Bears:

  • Nick Foles – 23/38 completions, 267 yards, three touchdowns, three interceptions
  • David Montgomery – 23 rushes, 60 yards, one touchdown, one reception/16 yards
  • Jimmy Graham – seven receptions, 73 yards, one touchdown
  • Allen Robinson – six receptions, 69 yards, one touchdown
  • Ted Ginn Jr. – four receptions, 41 yards
  • Kyle Fuller – seven tackles
  • Tashaun Gipson Sr. – three tackles, one interception
  • Roquan Smith – six tackles, one interception, 1.5 sacks
  • Khalil Mack – six tackles, 2.5 sacks, one tackle for loss
  • Akiem Hicks – seven tackles, 1.5 sacks, one tackle for loss

Indianapolis Colts

  • Philip Rivers – 24/43 completions, one touchdown, two interceptions
  • Jonathon Taylor – 11 rushes, 29 yards, one touchdown
  • Michael Pittman Jr. – seven receptions, 84 yards
  • Jack Doyle – six receptions, 64 yards
  • T.Y. Hilton – five receptions, 64 yards
  • Nyheim Hines – five receptions, 93 yards
  • DeForest Buckner – 10 tackles, two tackles for loss
  • Darius Leonard – nine tackles, one tackle for loss
  • Rock Ya-Sin – four tackles, two interceptions

Could this outcome happen today for the Chicago Bears?

Although Nick Foles threw three interceptions, he also accounted for three touchdowns. The efficiency could be better, the offense put up over 30 points, which is great to see considering the slow start to the season offensively. The offensive line had a great game in pass protection, holding a strong defensive pass rush to no sacks. The Bears pass blocking has been lackluster to start the season in real life, so hopefully, they step up against the Colts.

The defense played well enough, especially on the run. They held Jonathon Taylor to 20 yards, which is a good sign because in real life the run defense has not been as dominant as usual. Khalil Mack and Akiem Hicks continued their great years.

Next. Will the Bears create a new role for Trubisky?. dark

If the Bears can hold the Colts in check on the ground and force Rivers to throw as he did in this simulation, the Bears should have a good shot at winning. The offense did enough to keep them in the game, and Nick Foles did his job, even with the three interceptions. Let’s hope the Bears are really 4-0 after Sunday.
