Cole Kmet, Tight End

The rookie second-round pick hasn’t played much yet this season. The highest snap percentage he has gotten all year was 34% in Week 2 against the New York Giants. Last week, Cole Kmet saw his lowest snap count at 15 total snaps. Kmet was lauded as a very well-rounded tight end with a lot of upside.

On Tuesday, Matt Nagy told reporters that he would try and get Kmet out there more.

"“I would say to start off, that 15 is not enough. He needs to be out there more, No. 1. So we’re aware of that. He is doing a really good job at taking in this offense, which we knew from the get-go that he was gonna do. So now that he knows the tempo of the games, the adjustments — things that go on within the game, I feel like he’s ready.” – Matt Nagy"

This offseason, the Bears invested a lot into Jimmy Graham who has delivered thus far catching three touchdown passes and totaling 136 receiving yards. They also have Demetrius Harris who is very solid as a blocker and a great athlete, but Kmet seems to be their future as they invested a second-round pick in him.
