Good to see the Bears might have found a kicker

Stud: Cairo Santos

With all the kicking issues for the Chicago Bears, it was good to see the new kicker go 2/2 on Thursday. Cairo Santos, who used to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at one point in his career, was money on Thursday including hitting the go-ahead field goal, which ended up being a game-winner.

Stud: Allen Robinson

Allen Robinson proves continues to prove why he is the best player on this Bears offense no matter the QB. He had another very productive performance with 90 yards. on 10 catches. Early on in the game, there was an interception on a back-shoulder fade, that may or may not have been on him.

This was really his one blunder in an otherwise strong showing for the wideout. With his contract situation being up in the air, it’s great to see Robinson still show up and ball out when called upon.

Stud: Jimmy Graham

I have been debating for a couple of weeks on when Jimmy Graham should make his debut in the stud section of these articles, and I thought this week is as good as any. Jimmy has proved to be a red-zone target for the Bears, which is something he has struggled with in his last few years.

He caught another touchdown against Tampa bring his season total to four. In two years for GB Graham looked absolutely washed. He wasn’t getting open consistently, he was dropping passes, and most importantly, wasn’t effective in the red-zone.

He had five total touchdowns during his tenure in Green Bay, so having four already is a great sign. I was very down on Jimmy when the Bears signed him but he has definitely surpassed my expectations from him.
