Josh Kline

Throughout his career, Josh Kline bounced around a bit before finding his place in Minnesota. While playing for the Vikings last season, Kline was crucial in creating a powerful run game for Dalvin Cook as he ran for 1,135 yards in just 14 games. The Vikings had one of the best run offenses in the NFL last season. After the season, Kline was a surprise cut and never found a team to play for after that.

Kline has started in every game he has played in since 2016 when he was on the Tennessee Titans. He isn’t a star by any means, but he is a veteran guard who knows the game and position well and could at least bring some solid depth to a position that just took a huge hit.

According to Pro Football Focus, Kline only allowed two sacks all of 2019 and was flagged three times all year as well. His experience at both right and left guard is very valuable to the Bears and they could use this greatly. He’d be a cheap option right now that would likely cost around $1 million this season or even less.
