2. Danny Trevathan
There have been a few flashes over the past two weeks that Danny Trevathan is starting to play better. However, those are met with skepticism that comes from mistakes in those same games. All-in-all, Trevathan has not played a complete game that would be considered up this standard, yet.
In Week One, he looked old and slow. He has seen his snap count decreased by week ever since. In Week five, his snap count went up, and in total, he is still on the field 74% of the time. However, he is a liability in coverage.
Losing to younger players such as T.J Hockenson is one thing, but Dion Lewis beat him, as well. The run issues go to Roquan Smith, but Trevathan has been poor to diagnose, as well as react, which is a bad sign for an aging player who should savvy.
If he is starting to see things a tick slow, there is no coming back as his mind has help his aging body. It will be interesting to see if he plays more or less when Deon Bush gets healthy.
