1. Anthony Miller

If you have been reading the site, you knew there was an outside chance that Darnell Mooney was going to replace Taylor Gabriel, and the Bears would keep their receiving corps as is. That has been the case, which has limited Anthony Miller to a slot only player on a team that wants to run two tight end sets.

Still, Miller has had chances. Struggles to make a play against the New York Giants led to the Bears reducing his snaps heavily. Miller and Nick Foles were not on the same page late against Indianapolis which led to a pick that essentially ended the game. Then, on Thursday Night Football, we saw two tight ends heavily involved over Miller as the slot.

Next. Can Bears trust Alex Bars?. dark

Miller is 26 years old. At this point, he is who he is. He is inconsistent, and while you can take big shots to him, you cannot trust him to stay on the field consistently and make smart plays every snap. If the Bears can get more out of him, he an unlock their offense, but it seems as though the issues are on his inability to be trusted to do the right thing consistently.
