The Chicago Bears once again find a way to win, moving to 5-1 this season

The Chicago Bears have once again found a way to win through six weeks of the season. The offense continues to have their struggles, and the play-calling can still be very questionable at times but this Bears team knows how to win, plain and simple.

The Carolina Panthers are a scrappy team and I thought going in that this game was going to serve as a good chance to see if these Bears are for real or not. The Chicago Bears came out to play on the defensive side of the ball as always and was really the main catalyst for this victory.

So as we do after every Chicago Bears victory let’s take a look at some Studs, duds, and who the MVP was from week 6. This week we’re going to start off with the studs of the game.

Stud: Cole Kmet

It was nice to see Cole Kmet actually get on the field and get used in a positive way. There are already murmurs of the rookie being called a bust for his lack of production this season. Cole caught both of his targets for 20 yards and a touchdown. Of course, these numbers are nothing to be blown away by, but it’s still a great sign to see him used on offense.

Stud: Jaylon Johnson

Jaylon Johnson is one of my favorite players on this entire Bears roster. I was high on him coming into the season and he has completely outplayed expectations. He had another really solid performance overall against a really good Panthers receiving core. He did get beat once or twice by D.J. Moore but played solid for the most part. He was also responsible for the tipped pass which led to a Tashaun Gipson interception.
