2. Senio Kelemete, Texans

Could the Chicago Bears take advantage of a franchise without a GM at the moment? The fact of the matter is that the Texans should be looking to sell off players such as Kemelete, and the Bears should be interested.

So far, Kelemete has played in the Texans past five games and has started the past three. He has held down his own and is a much bigger upgrade for Chicago than Billy Price would be. Still, the Texans are going nowhere and looking towards an offseason involving change.

They also have a second-year guard in Max Scharping who is on the bench behind Kelemete. To be fair, Scharping started the season week one and has been reduced to the bench. Still, the Texans are at the point in the season where giving Scharping experience and finding out what he has to offer is probably better than starting the known quantity in Kemelete.

Kelemete is signed through 2021 but would save the Texans $5 million in cap space to move on. Overall, Kelemte has been average as a depth starter, but that is all that he is. He is starting right now because the Texans initial plan struggled. However, he is a veteran with left guard experience and would be a huge upgrade for the Chicago Bears.

The Texans could add late draft capital and clear a few bucks for down the road while the Bears get a direct upgrade at a position of need.
