If they could, the Chicago Bears should steal one of these three NFC North players

The Chicago Bears should add to the defensive line by stealing Trey Flowers

The Detroit Lions have some solid players despite their poor record almost every season. My initial reaction was to steal Kenny Golladay. Golladay is one of my favorite players and the fact he came out of Northern Illinois University (go Huskies) makes him even more favorable. I also believe the Chicago Bears could use some help at the receiver position.

After thinking about it though, I see Aaron Rodgers improving the receivers enough where I can live with Anthony Miller’s mistakes. Instead, I think the Bears could use some help on the defensive line. I know, the defense has been great, but imagine adding a player like Trey Flowers to the mix. The defensive line rotation would be phenomenal. Flowers and Hicks on the outside with Bilal Nichols filling in for Eddie Goldman seems too good to be true.

Flowers has never become one of the great pass rushers, but he is still a good pass rusher. Flowers has averaged seven sacks per year for the last four seasons. With him and Hicks on the line, plus Khalil Mack and Robert Quinn rushing from the outside linebacker positions, offensive lines would truly struggle to contain this pass rush on every single play.
