The Chicago Bears still have five games versus the NFC North

The Chicago Bears must continue winning games versus NFC opponents, but more importantly, the team must beat their NFC North rivals. Right now, the Bears are 5-0 versus NFC teams. This is fantastic, but will it be enough? The more important games are yet to come — games versus the Packers, Vikings and Lions.

To kick off the 2020 season, the Chicago Bears were lucky enough to escape Week 1 with a victory over the Detroit Lions. Now, however, the team still has to face the Packers twice, the Vikings twice and the Lions one more time.

Since Matt Nagy has been the Head Coach of the Bears, the team is undefeated versus the Lions and the Vikings. Unfortunately, the team is only 1-3 versus the Packers during his reign. This could lead to many problems for the Bears as even though the team is currently in first place now, the Packers are right behind them with a 4-1 record. Not to mention, the Packers offense has looked almost unbeatable. That was until this past week when the team lost badly to Tampa Bay.

When it comes to the division, the Bears will need to win at least three of their remaining five games. This could be in any combination. The Bears could continue to take care of business with another win over the Lions and two more against the Vikings. This would keep Matt Nagy’s Bears undefeated versus the Lions and Vikings. These three wins would guarantee the team eight victories on the year. Any additional wins (possibly versus the Packers) would be helpful.
