Good things will happen to the Chicago Bears offense if they play keep away

This Rams game will be a good test to see if Nick Foles spending more time as the Bears quarterback can give their offense the consistency that has been absent this season. The biggest obstacle to this will be Aaron Donald.

The good news is that he is pretty much a one-man gang pass rush. The Bears have ways to, possibly, minimize Donald’s impact. Donald lines up all over the line. Therefore, Nagy needs to give Foles some options in presnap to use so Nick can try to stay away from him.

They can use a lot of three-step drops and slide Foles to one side or another so the Bears quarterback can stay out of the pocket. The good news for the Rams is they have two of the best defenders in the entire NFL in Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey. The good news for the Bears is if they can, successfully, play keep away from these two super talents maybe they can take the ugly out of their offense.
